Elect Jack Milner, Laura Palmer, and Deb Busch on November 8
Jack Milner is running this year for re-election as Westerlo Town Councilperson.
Jack is a lifelong Westerlo resident, a former Marine, and a successful businessman and farmer. Jack has been your independent voice on the Westerlo Town Board since 2009. Despite tremendous resistance from the Supervisor and his supporters, Jack has exposed misuse of Town money at the Transfer Station, gotten the Town to accept the donation of Town signs on our Highway trucks, arranged for land to be donated to the Town to improve the transfer Station, gotten the Town to stop abandoning the Little League facility at the Town Park, and opened up a range of additional issues and opportunites for better government.
Jack asks you to re-elect him this year so he can continue to press the Town government to use our tax money carefully and effectively, open its processes to the public, and take positive steps to protect the tax base and the quality of life in Westerlo.
Laura Palmer is also running this year for election as Westerlo Town Councilperson. Two Town Board seats are to be filled this year and Laura is running for election alongside Jack.
Laura is a lifelong Westerlo resident. She has served the Westerlo community all her adult life. Over the years, Laura has been elected to over twenty offices with the Westerlo Fire Company, the Hiawatha Grange, and other community organizations. Laur ran the lunch program for the Greenville Central School District for 18 years, during which she turned a loo-making operation into one which made a profit of over $40,000 per year and took no money at all from taxpayers.
Laura intends to work with Jack to lift the lid on how Town government makes decisions and spends taxpayer dollars, and to make sure that Town government hears and responds to the needs of the people.
Deborah Busch is running this year for Albany County Legislator for the newly redrawn 39th District, which includes all of Westerlo and much of the other Hilltowns.
Deb is a Hilltown native and lifelong resident, a graduate of Berne-Knox-Westerlo High, and a senior nurse at Albany Medical Center.
She intends to work to shrink the size and cost of Albany County government to eliminate unnecessary tax burdens on Albany County residents.
Do yourself and your town a favor. Go to your polling place on Tuesday, November 8 and vote straight Line B to elect Jack Milner, Laura Palmer, and Deb Busch. Thanks!
